Lunchtime Recitalist - PAUL DOWBEKIN

PAUL DOWBEKIN studied organ at Trinity College of Music, London with Harry Gabb. His first organ post was at St James' Church, Spanish Place. After this he moved to The Church of the Holy Redeemer, Chelsea. He followed this with a period as a deputy organist at Westminster Cathedral with Colin Mawby as Director of Music.
Paul then  became Director of Music at Amesbury Preparatory School as well as Organist at Arundel Cathedral. He moved on to Hawtreys and, with the closure and amalgamation of Hawtreys with Cheam School, he took over from David Reynolds to become the Director of Music of Cheam Hawtreys.  He is both a Fellow and Licentiate of Trinity College of Music.
